Staff of General Secretariat meet Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I

WARSAW, POLAND - His All-Holi-ness, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartho-lomew I, received SYNDESMOS General Secretariat staff members on 24 January 2000, during his visit to Poland at the invitation of the Speaker of the Parliament.
At a reception organised by the Greek Embassy in Warsaw, His All-Holiness received outgoing Secretary General, Mr. Vladimir Misijuk, and Mrs. Anastasia Moussatova-Tso-glijna, outgoing administrative assis-tant. Also present at the reception were the newly-elected Secretary General, Ms. Rebecca Hookway, and Deputy Secretary General, Mr.Bohumil Voprsalek.
The meeting with Patriarch Bar-tholomew was a blessing for the new staff of SYNDESMOS at the start of their tenure, and equally for Mr. Misiuk as his work at the Secretariat drew to a close.
At the meeting Mr. Misijuk pre-sented His All-Holiness with a copy of the newly-published For the Peace from Above, an Orthodox resource book on war, peace and nationalismproduced by SYNDESMOS.
