Message of His Eminence Metropolitan Dionysios
of New Zealand, Exarch of Korea and Japan
To Dr. Dimitri Oikonomou, President of SYNDESMOS, the World Fellowship
of Orthodox Youth: God's Blessings to you and all the partici-pants
gathered at Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Finland: Upon hearing
of this great gathering of the International Orthodox Youth Fellowship
in the beautiful country of Finland, the SYNDESMOS XVI General Assembly,
I would like to express my
great joy and happiness, and to send my warm wishes to you, and all
the participants from around the world.
All of you who gather at this General Assembly deserve all the goodness
and blessings of our Lord because, I believe, you are the hope and
strength of our Church today. Our Church needs your full and worthy
participation from all corners of this world to serve the People of
God with one mind and one heart. I pray fervently to the Lord for
your successful and fruitful General Assembly, so that we all may
glorify our Lord.
May the Lord guide you all to serve Him in unity, as the theme of
the XVI General Assembly of
SYNDESMOS states.
