The World Day of Orthodox Youth

On the occasion of the feast of the Meeting of the Lord, the World Day of Orthodox Youth, Syndesmos calls in an open discussion on the input  "Unity: The lost constitution of the Church". This text was the main input of the Syndesmos Consultation, Piraeus, 23-25 November 2007 (hosted founding persons of our Fellowship, former presidents and secretaries), delivered by Rev. Vassileios Thermos PhD, Theologian, and Child Psychiatrist.

Event report

The Syndesmos conference “Woman and ministries in the Church” took place in 08-12 August in Servagère-Malleval, France. Forty participants from France, Russia, Belarus, Germany, Romania, Greece, the United States and other countries took part in the forum.

This meeting was a continuation of church discussion on the issue of woman and ministries started in 1976 at the first international meeting of Orthodox women in Agapia (Romania).

The international conference “Mission in Eastern Europe in Orthodox Context” organised by St Philaret’s Christian Orthodox Institute (Moscow, Russia), the World Fellowship of Orthodox Youth – Syndesmos, Church Mission Society (London, UK) with the support of the Missions Department at the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of Russia took place 31 May – 1 June 2007 in Moscow.
